Hello everyone and thank you for any help in advance. Ive spent two days researching and fiddling and do not have anything to show for it.

What im working with:
JDM rb20det
walboro 255 pump
Wiring specialties full harness with new coil pack harness
New Ngk #6 plugs

The Issue:
The engine starts without much issue but you can hear a clear misfire. When i pulled the plugs cylinders 1,2 and 5 were covered in soot which leads me to believe they arent firing properly the others were clean. The engine can be revved but spits and sputters and doesnt go above 3500 or so. The engine also will no idle on its own.

What ive checked:
Check and regapped/cleaned plugs .8mm
Checked coils by placing a plug in each grounding it out and turning the motor over.
Checked fuel injectors by turning the CAS by hand. Pulled the rail up and watched the injectors fire.
Put a screw driver to each injector and checked for firing.
The plugs are all brand new but i inspected them anyways.
No vacuum leaks. Unless theres a leak from the lower intake gasket.
All charge piping is tight and not leaking.
CAS removed and spun by hand and put back.
Compression checked out good.
swapped the ecu.
Unplugged the MAF while the car was running and it ran worse. ( will not start without plugged in)
Checked timing.

Things that are suspicious:
The IAC is broken so a new one is in the mail. (connector is broken off)
The ignitor chip is cracked on the top. ( but i still get spark from all 6 coils)
The ecu I have is seemingly from an auto car and the other is from an NA car.

Once again i appreciate all input!

sounds like its the cracked ignitor, the auto ecu is fine. Do not use the NA ecu. here is something to try start the engine as it is idling and misfiring full the coilpack connect starting from #1(front of engine) if there is a change in the idle(gets worse) then that coil is fine, move to the next one and so on. if there is no change in idle when you pull a coil pack connector then that is the problem area. Most likely a bad coil.

Also double check all engine and ignitor grounds.

Ill most definitely check the coils tomorrow using that method. I suspect the ignitor. Ill order a new one just because its worth a shot. Thank you for the reply!
