Does anyone know how to repair the fuel gauge in the gass tank of the Laurel C33 Madalist?

i have tried to clean the circuit board on mine to get a readin but it does not work for long..when i clean it out it just goes to under E on the insturment panel and then it just sticks on half.....another time i got it to work well and it was on full(F) but ten again when it reached to half or around half it didnt move.....now i saw the gauge on the instrument panel go to E...Half...and Full so i know it work there...so it must be the gauge in the tank...would i would like to know is what i can do to make it work properly because at the moment its on half and i never know how much fuel i have.....

Sounds like a sending unit problem in the tank. Did you install a fuel pump anytime recently?
