So i changed my MAF on my rb20det so thats out of the question for being the problem..

When the AC is on the idle drops to about 400RPM and it take a little while for it to go back up to 900RPM..in a little while i mean like it will stay on 400RPM for maybe 60sec or so or if i tape the gas pedal it would go back to normal idle..sometimes it drops so low that the engine cuts off... i notice this too with my power steering when its turned completely to one side..

Does anyone know whats going on here and what can be the problem?

sounds like your ficd is not working properly. get your multimeter out. if you look on the back of the intake manifold, there is a purple plug. with your A/C off there should be no signal to that plug. when you turn on the A/C, there should be a signal, and the idle speed should increase. same if you turn your steering wheel. if there is a signal there, I would say you need a new iacv, of which the FICD is part of. I'm not sure if you can get the FICD by itsself. if there is no signal, find an ECU pinout and do a continuity check between the FICD and the ECU, and see if the problem is in the wiring. if it is not there, then it may be the ECU. hope that at least gives you a start point.

PS. you'd better read the SIG RULEZ 'fo the sig patrol catches ya!!! just a heads up.
