rb20det into 91 240sx wiring help please

hi therwe i have searched and searched this list and many others but cant find out how to wire my rb into my 240its a rb2odet91 240sxi used ka lower harnessand rb top harnessi have the rb20det ecu pinouts but cant find the ka24de pinouts anywhere so i need help badthe 2 green relays plugs had blue relays in them when i got it i dont know if that will make a difference or notso to make a long story short i have the car in the garage paying rent lol and need to get the wiring fixed to at least get it start to move it out so please help me asap you can email me at [email protected] or msn me at [email protected] for all supportmike

also what sensors etc do you use from th 240?like power transistoe etc stuff like that everything was taken off the car and need to know what is needed to put backplease helpi own a cnc plasma and can help people out with flanges etc all i need is help here thanksmike

i was looking at the 8 steps of wiringthey are for the rb25 but anyway with the 8 steps they show 1 big plg inside from dash wiring etc the rb20det i have have like 3 smaller onesthere is no grey/redanyone know what wires i have to use from the rb20det wiring harness to get it running?and where to hook them to the ka harnessi have fuel pump workingthe car will roll over but will not start

The 8 step thing worked for me. Are you sure you don't have your fuel lines (the ones coming from the fuel filter and return) crossed? I think that's one of the main things people overlook. I did it, and I think John Powell did it. Check to see if your injectors are firing. Usually that 8step thing is a pretty good start and most people figure it out.

did you do the rb20det?i dont have 1 plug inside by the ecu plug i have 3 and the colours are differentdont know what to plug the orange wire from brown plug into cant find a good s13 wiring diagrami have a rb20det to s14 wiring but they are different then the s13please help if ya can i am on msn [email protected]

tring to get ahold of you on aim my aim is mytpitroublesanyway i found i got power to coils on the center wirebut no injector pulse

yeah, I did the swap, but mine had one big blue plug w/ a white cover going into the ECU. Do you have the green relays plugged in? If not, the car won't start and I don't even think the ignition circuit will work.

i have the relays hoked up just need to know what wires to put where

i did the same swap, 91 s13 w/ rb20det recently.

when using the ka lower harness with the rb20det swap, just use the 6-wires plug on RB EFI harness, this plug is in the engine bay.

i hook up four wires:(rb 6-wire plug) black/red -> ka black red (gray oval plug by the battery)(rb 6-wire plug) white/black -> ka red (gray oval plug by the battery)(rb 6-wire plug) white/purple -> tap into the ka fused white ignition wire in the fuse box.(one of the white plug on the RB efi harness near ecu) black/pink -> ka black/pink (brown plug by the battery)

for the tach signal and water temp signal, under the dash, on the passenger side, there's a brown plug, tap the orange/red wire and the blue/black on the ka brown plug to the rb's white plug, same as where you tap in for the fuel pump signal by the ecu.

as for the water temp sensor, some people say switch it out with the one off the ka24de, i try both, and both give the right signal to the ka cluster.

that should be it; make sure you extend your lower ka harness with the rb's plugs if nessecesary, i only extended the alternator wires.
