Alright I have an 89' hatch with an RB20det in it. The stock turbo on there is blown. I am currently trying to find a Z31 turbo in good shape, but haven't had much luck. Either way I have a 57 trim t3/t04e and 38mm tial wastegate sitting in my room, I am currently trying to sell those without much luck locally. So my question is:

Does anyone make an affordable RB20 manifold that is set-up with a t3 flange and an external wastegate? If so could someone point me in this direction. Because I wouldn't mind using the turbo/wastegate that is sitting here collecting dust.

That one's made by Stone Racing. Pretty good company from what Ive read. It doesnt look like its got an ext wastegate flange, but thats the only manifold I know about. But I'm not a RB guru. Maybe you should search/post in the RB forums. Those guys know their stuff.

JGS makes cheap (but decent) SR and KA manifolds. For the right price, I'm sure they'd custom build a RB mani. Shouldnt be too hard if they have a exhaust flange or gasket to work from. Maybe you could send them yours??Good luck!

Where are you? Ive seen two Z31 turbos in a junkyard around here. One was an auto with 90k miles. The other was a manual with higher miles...

All those manifolds are made by SS Autochrome and have a spotty rep at best. Alot of the time it's a hit or miss deal with them. I personally haven't looked for extrnally gated manifolds because I'm going a different route with my RB20 but I'm pretty sure some guys in the RB forums have used externally gated turbos on their stock manifolds somehow. Ask around there.
