Hey everybody, first I must tell you this is my first nissan, I bought the RB20 from my friend and traded one of my cars for the 95' 240sx. I successfully got the RB in the 240 with McKinney motor mounts, and ran into problems such as my stock driveshaft being too long, and sent McKinney motorsports the wiring harnesses for the swap. Got it back two months later, installed it with some help and everything is plugged in, and when we hook the battery up, the starter spins but doesnt kick out. Im not sure why it starts with no key in the ignition, so I checked out all my connections, everything looks good, tried to hook the battery up again and one time the motor turned over, then back to just spinning without kicking out. So I took the starter off and had it tested. It's good. I am thinking about taking the wiring harness back off and sending it back to McKinney for many reasons. They sent it back with the wrong connectors for the transmission, there are two plugs on the transmission that are square like, I think one is the fifth gear cut off and the other the reverse lights, and nothing plugs into them when I got the harness back. Anyone ever had this problem or can give me any info? Thanks!

Talked to him today. He had battery wire hooked up to wrong terminal on the sol making the starter run all the time..... WE recommond using the KA lower harness, so we DO NOT rewire the lower harness, its to easy to only change 1-3 plugs on the ka trans wires rather than a complete rewire of the rb25 lower harness!!!!!!!!!. WE DO NOT REWIRE LOWER HARNESS AT ALL>>>>>>

Yep I called Mack at McKinney Motorsports yesterday and he walked me through the steps to find the problem and five minutes later he had helped me fix the problem, the power line was hooked up to the ground post on the selenoid, and a second power line was hooked up to the power post on the selenoid! Total ignorance working in full force on my part, thanks Mack for your help if I have any more problems Im coming to you first!
