welcome to NICO, i hope u find everyone here very helpful and informative, and yes an rb2odet can be instlaled into a 24o, however, why noy just go with the rb25 if you're gonna go with a 6?

well the rb25 has much more potential as far as big power numbers, and quite frankly, it is probably easier to get parts for , as well as the motor itself, becuase rb2o's dont get used much, mots people figure if they want a 2.o liter, get an sr and better gas mileage, but if they want a 6, they go with the 25, and the rb25 will probably be aobut as cheap as the 2o, try searching for more answers

The RB25 drops into an S13/S14 nearly as easy as the RB20. Just avoid the RB26, that is the super insane expensive drop.

how is the 26 that much harder than teh 25? other than the two turbo's of course, i would just figure swap the twins for a larger single, and then drop it in, would that make it any easier?

The main problem is the two turbo's interfere with the steering column on a LHD S13 or S14. The other problems you run into are turbo piping. There is a lot more of it on the RB26. The RB25 and RB20 have similar piping for their single turbos, and it does not get in the way.

If you switch to a single top mounted turbo on the RB26, it makes things easier. However, "easy" is not a word to describe the swap.

Also, you must remember you will need an RB25 transmission no matter what, because the RB26 transmission is AWD and not useable on the S13/14.

The 16k that Afterdark offered for it was simply an estimate of how much it *would* cost to convert the car to AWD. It has never been done to the best of my knowledge, and I KNOW Afterdark has never done it. It was just a rough price estimated on the amount of custom fabrication we would have had to have done.
