Rb20det idle control regulator

I wanted to ask and see if the idle control regulator is stuck open could that cause a higher than normal idle? I searched and didn't really come up with anything

unplug it and see if the idle changes. Maybe a vacuum leak.

i thought the same thing, i also had a high idle with the rb20.. come to find out it was the tps the whole time. check the tps you should be getting .5 volts with the tps connected and the car idling.. if its not and you cant get .5 volts turn the car off and disconnect it, check for ohms see if its jumping all over the place is so its your tps. mine was at like 13v.. odd cause its a 5 volt reference. the mintue i tapped on the casing with my finger it would change voltage and same with the ohms

I thought it was the tps too but I did the .45 volts and made sure it stayed there and it seems to be fine. And I can't seem to find any vacuum leaks.
