rb20det high rpm need to see this picture

after i cleaned that red circle stuff..... air valve (i do not know exactly)

and after i cleaned it when i start car my rpm stays in 2000rpm..

even i drive for 1hour when i stop and change it to (N) still at 2000rpm..

do i need computer stuff to adjust the idle rpm??? or how can i fix it. . .p lz help me guys thank you

There is a screw right in that area you can adjust.

yes yes i tried that but... after i screw that to left ... it start to move low and hight for example it will stays at rpm2000 for 3sec and goes to rpm1000and goes back 2000rpm .. it keeps doing that . . . . . . .

what should i do .....

try cleaning the throttle body and the spring on it, it may be a bit stuck.

Also make sure that there arent any vacuum leaks around that valve or any after the throttle body.

make sure you put a new gasket on the IAC valve..also check your idle switch as well.Check for broken hoses etc.

you need to readjust the rpm; 1) at warm operating temperature2) unplug that brown plug in you circled picture3) adjust the screw on that sensor to 7-800rpm4) plug the brown plug back in

ok im gonna try that right now

by the way i changed my maf yesterday and my rpm got little better.

so i have to warm up the car and take the plug out while the car is still running right?? ok ; .. but do i have to turn the screw to the left or rifht??

i think right ?? right ?? ? thx guys im gonna try it now !!!

i turn the screw to right all the way and my rpm is now stays in 1500rpm-1600rpm better then before but. how can i bring it to 1000rpm . . . .

do i have to turn it to left or right. . .that screw . . .

did you unplug it before adjusting ?check the throttle cable

everybody i fixed it .. i took the aac valve thing and i found the spring stuff so .. and i put it back all together and now runs good thank you for all help and support thanx
