Hey, I need some help, Fist off, I found a white wire coming from the fuse box (one of the four) that didn't have battery power when I took out the ignition fuse and connected that to the white and purple wire from the RB, well I get a click from a relay on the driver side but no starter action.

And also I am getting no fuel pump prime at all, I took the black/pink wire and ran a new wire from the plug to the ecu pin 18 like discussed in the write ups...

Could someone take a picture of their1) starter2) wiring on the fusebox for white/purple wire

Anything is appreciated.

What lower harness did you use? Check the grounds on the starter. Did you switch the spade connector or splice it correctly?

The white wire on the fuse box is the thickest white wire coming out of the fuse box. Im assuming since you heard the relays click you did that right.

I used the Ka24de lower harness, The spade connector I used was from the Rb lower Harness, and has be soldered in correctly.

I dont understand why there is no action when I turn the key. I can say that the starter is good, I tested it, and it cranks... I know that the lower harness is correct, because I followed the right ups and it was really pretty easy to understand what was going on.

I am certain that the fuel pump is good, it's a walboro 255 and has only been used a total of 1 hour.

Does anyone have any good places to start checking over?

I really don't know why its not cranking! so frustrating...

Thanks for any help!

if you want a easy fix to the starter probel u can allways get a relay...some wires...a inline fuse and a push button and wire up a push button start...its real easy and makes u feal like u got a ferari hahahahahaha

it basicly bypases factory wiring for the starter relay and makes a new one...works mint

put a ground wire going from the starter bolt to your chasis, i bet it will turn right over. thats what was wrong with mine. the more i do with my rb20 s13 the more i realize how important grounds are. a few days ago it came off and the car would crank over but wouldn;t start at all. to be safe i would even put another on somewhere else.

it would be better if you ran a wire from the bolt to the negative battery terminal

Ok so I have the Grounds all hooked up and the Starter wires correct.. but I am still having trouble with the ignition switch... You probably know why... there are four wires, and I am trying to see which one get the 12V when the key is in the on position, then when it is in the off position have the Voltage drop to zero, but all four white wires are at a constant 12V.

My measuring technique is having a DMM and taking the red lead into the wire, and the ground to the battery ground. scale is set to a max of 20V...

can anyone help?

Well Just a little update, I am pretty sure the turbo just needed to get some fresh oil in it, I ran the car today so i could do a coolant flush, and the turbo was no longer spitting oil into the hot pipe. So all i need to do is get my pipes made and I am ready to start driving! It idles alot better than I was expecting and starts up pretty quickly! Just by the satisfaction of getting this engine running I am happy I did it!
