rb20det head flow numbers

any one have them? im having a machine shop port my head and i want to know what they stock numbers are just incase he doesnt tell me the truth so i can see how much he really gets out of it iv been searching for half an hr but no luck yet

If hes going to tell you an after porting result, why cant he provide a before?

I'm sure he will but I just wanna know that he's not lieing about it and tryin to make it sound like he did more then he really did to make sure I'm getting my moneys worth

I see, why would you have someone do work for you that you cant trust?

Id guess that an rb20 head flows in the 180-200cfm @ 28' intake and 140ish exhaust.. this is a guess.. but i know they flow less than 25/26 heads which are 230ish intake and 165ish exhaust

Flow benches are like dynos... they all read differently.

They can be flow tested at different pressues etc that can vary numbers.. the industry standard seems to be tested at 28'

A good valve job and a decent bowl cleanup will generally yield decent gains.. but starting to mess with port shape etc is where its get costly, and tricky if this guy isn't familiar with multi-valve heads i wouldn't trust him.

i dont have the numbers, but just throwin this out there. thats an important high dollar job, idk if id take it to someone that i thought, in any way shape or form, would be dishonest with me.

i dont know that i cant trust him iv never dealt with him but hes soposidly known for being an amazing porter i just wanna know how good he is
