[B] RB20DET Gearbox Noise? ? [/B]

I just did a conversion on my C33 Laurel Medalist, it was an Rb20det with transmission and i converted it to a manual gearbox...the car is able to move but i'm getting a noise from the clutch...sounds like a grabbing noise or something and these a smell that goes with it when i get the noise...smells like the clutch...

can anyone tell me what is the problem with it? where did it go wrong and how can i repair it?

the gears go in ok but yes they go in slighty hard...when i did the conversion we did not put a brass spigot bush back in the crankshaft..but i'm not sure if that can casue it or what else it might be ?

any ideas?

1. Clutch Release Bearing2. Brass Bushing (the one in the back of the engine crankshaft)3. Pilot Bearing

which do you think would be my problem more than likely?
