i need to get a new ecu for my 20. do i have to get one that matches the numbers on mine,or do i just need one for a manual trans? does it have to be for a r32 skyline or will a cefiro one work or what ever has a rb20det in it .

im not really sure about the number thing. but i wouldnt think the cefiero one would work. tht engine is ncis or something like that not eccs. the engines r alittle difrent on the intake and stuff

There are two differrent ecu's that will work. the 22 series was in the first rb20det skyline's and the BH which was an upgrade. the programming is the same but the diagnostics is better in the BH. that is if my understanding of it is correct. i have two different 22 series but have been told by several people that the BH will work.
