rb20det ecu question

i have an rb20det that was originally an automatic and is now a 5-speed. I have heard that the auto ecu delivers a richer fuel mixture than the manual ecu. but i only read that on a post on the SDU forum. I do know that the manual ecu allows my car to accellerate smoother from a stop than the auto ecu, but my car pulls harder to redline with the auto ecu. i have also heard that the auto ecu does not have a speed limiter on it either. my timming is set at 15 degrees if that makes a difference. does anybody have any fact to the differences in these two ecu's?
