I have 2 ecu's i've been using to try to get to the bottom of my delima on my rb20 in my s14. 1 ecu doesn't send a fire signal to coil pack 1 & 6 for some reason.... the other ecu sends a signal to all 6 coil packs, but won't allow the motor to rev above 2k rpm's... like it's not detecting the maf???? anybody have any input/ideas what could cause this, or do i probably have 2 bad ecu's?

the confusion just got a little deeper.... now both ecu's are not firing coil pack 1 and 6... however 1 of them still won't rev above 2k.... i've checked to make sure all wires are contacting properly on the ecu and they are all perfectly fine... i'm thinking this has to be a wiring issue...... PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Wiring. The 2k limit, linked to your mafs. The 1 and 6, check out the ignitor and cas.

yeah.... turns out it was the ignitor chip... however now it's misfiring like no other during acceleration???
