hi all,
not to sure if this is the right section to ask this question, but seems to be right since the rb motor specific forum is gone, and my rb20 is in a s13.
has anyone use the e-Manage Ultimate piggy back system? im in need of a way to tune my rb20det. ive had it rom tuned but need it done again for upgrades doing, and not to sure what happened to Carl H but hes who did the rom tune. let me know if you have or are using it and how it works or what you recomend using or getting with out braking the bank like an AEM ecu will.
thanks.

How about a used Apexi Power FC & Handcommander (optional) ? Nice tuning, better then E-manage (in my opinion), and cheaper then the AEM.

Look for Japandyno at Ebay. He is based in Japan and can get his hands on almost everything. Also his prices are very reasonable !

Why would you wait that long? get it installed locally at a TV repair shop.

You install the board into ecu, plug consult cable into laptop and tune away. change injectors/mafs set rev limiter, play with timing and furl map. it's a type 2 board if I remember right. I had it before I went to aem.

So it works pretty good? Hows that aem working for you? I may just go with aem instead of getting something I may end up replacing anyway

I'm considering trying out pro efi, the pupra guys seem to be having much success with them and my buddy gets good deals on them.

Be happy with the fuel cut it's prob saving your motor lol. Get the nistune and start tuning your s***. The drop down menu for maf selection and adjusting for injector size is pretty straight forward. There is a manual you can download from them to teach you how to setup the car. Just don't try to run a blow through setup with a Ford lightning maf lol you will get no help.

Oh yeah im glad its doing the cut, it just sucks! Can I just order the board straight off the nistune website? It sounds like thats all I need right now. Ill just be doing bigger injectors, z32 maf, maybe cams, and maybe a forward facing intake plenum. I found a Japanese company that makes a pretty decent one for around 400 shipped looks like a RIPS idk though may just stick with the good old stocl one.

Oh does nistune send you install paperwork? Just curious on how a tv repair guy would know how to put it in.

The install info is on the web page that you download. Yes you can order it right from them that's how I did my last 2. Should be a good deal I think the AUD is lower than the USD right now. Make sure you get the consult cable too.

You have a wideband? You will need one to tune your car.

If it's about where the cat would go that's fine. I had mine a few inches from the flange of the down pipe. Not the 02 housing off the turbo but the down pipe Mckinney sells.

Id say mines in the middle of my down pipe. My wideband reads weird though, it bounces around from 13.5-15 and off the chart when I start to boost.

91-95 sentra at junk yards have the consult cable in drivers side kick panel. you can splice it near the ecu. you just have to look it up.
