Hi guys,

I already search. Thank you very much. But really aside from the jokes...

After installing the RB20DET crossmember, the stock downpipe will fit and so will the stock motor mounts.

What happens after that? I'd read that the hood won't clear? And something about the strut tower? I'm confused.

Thanks for your help and time for reading this.

Does no one do anything anymore on their own to find out for their damn selves?

You'll clear the strut towers fine, but you'll need to remove the fireproof padding crap and cut away some hood bracing. The dump pipe will also rub your steering shaft.

This is for an S13.

It's the metal bracing that criss crosses underneath your hood to provide support. I believe some ppl have actually shimmed the back of their hoods to help provide clearance.

Is it a lot of work? or easy? I asked because I got the motorset, crossmember, stock mounts, for 1500 shipped. and I'm hoping that I can just swap the motorset, crossmember, and stock mounts into my car and i'll be good to go.
