rb20det cold start prob?? maybe my start signal?

i have an rb20det swapped into a 1992 toyota cressida.I have been workin on it since august its almost done all thats left is shorten the drive shaft and fab up a downpipe that will be a pain in my balls lol.Any how when i start it cold i have to pump the pedal and wait about a half a miute or longer to get it to start.once it runs and warms up it starts almost right up when i shut it down and restart. now the way the car is setup is its running off a 240sx relay box and the toyota harness is uncut .i did a lil research and am thinking its because i dont have a start signal goin to the ecu? ive searched a lil on it but dont quite get it no real clear write up on it and i dont wana f@#k up and fry my ecu.i was wondering on how to get a signal to it I have had to many cross my fingers situations with the car and dont want another.also i gapped my plugs to 1.1 but i also read people putting them at 0.8 what would be the best for a near stock rb20det? anyways any help would be great thanks

Run a wire from starter solonoid circuit to pin 43 on ECU. That should do it.

well ran a wire from my push start button to that pinout thing fired right up after a second. four times better than before.thanks.

i def could but ill have to wait till 2morrow lol.but r u runnin a push start or off ur ignition? all i did was splice the wire that runs to my starter for the push button start.ran a wire from that to pinout #43 thats a yellow with green stripe i believe u should just lookup ecu pinouts if u need to know where it is i actually printed it out and has helped me through this build. any way if u still want pics just let me know good luck

yea man pics would help me out alot and yea it all push button and toggle switches and im def ganna have to get a one of those printouts for the pins
btw lovin the car satin black is the way to go lol its what i got with pink anodize accents as soon as i figure out how to add pics ill throw some up

okay man here ya go sorry it took me so damn long just kinda slips my mind plus my car is a garage a couple towns away.well here ya go the first pic is just going to be a red wire with a white spliced into it.the red wire is the wire that goes from the push start to the starter.i just spliced the white one into it to pinout 43 that is a yellow with a blue stripe in it.so when u give it the start signal it also gives the ecu a signal to start with well here are the pics and any ques just lemme know good luck
