Im building a rb20 up a little, im in need of a set of cams preferably a 264 or larger set. I've already gotten a t3/t4 48/50 57 trim turbo with a stage 3 wheel and my buddy does custom intake manifolds so he's gonna make me a veilside style intake manifold. Im getting a custom fuel rail made and I plan on running a set of 72lb injectors. Anyone have any advice or were to get any cams, please let me know. btw im looking to make about 400-425hp and my car is completely stripped so it'll be pretty quick. Im new to the rb's so any parts advice would be helpful. what psi does a stock h/g blow out at?

Ummm, I'm pretty sure you're not going to get that kind of horsepower out of an RB20 without building the bottom end and running a ridiculous amount of boost. Then again, it may survive one or two dyno pulls before imploding with the stock rods...but what do I know...

its possible but 400bhp on the stock internals has been done.hope you can tune like a whore on a rich bastard and have some water injection lined up.

I work on 240's with turbo ka's and rb's in them all day long. Its funny you sound like the sr guys when they said a ka would never do 400hp on stock rods and oops ivan at sound performance does 502whp..lmao.. sorry its just i'ved talked to guys from skylinesdownunder and 400hp is very acheiveable with proper tuning. I was originally looking at 780-800hp with a completely built motor but I dont want a dyno queen. I just want a quick daily driver to street race with. Anyway, do you guys know anyone running the xs-power turbo manifold and does it hold up? thanks..

400-425 hp is a lil more than a quick daily driver to street race with

i have a zoom magazine from Australia and they had 450 on a stock internal RB20 some junkyard motor with over 100K on it and they just slapped a turbo, injectors and management on it.It is possible, but do you really need itthe amount of lag your gonna have is gonna suck. Personally im aiming for like 300hp, its nothing earth shattering but hopefully it'll be reliable and that'll be more than enough to AutoX, drift and maybe road race.
