It will ALWAYS be a work-in-progress. I still feel like there is some stock power I am missing so I am working on "retuning" it....maybe it is just the hardbody open differential's gearing that makes it feel like it is lacking some power I felt in the old 240....i dunno...still working on it.
I work on it every couple of weeks and try to finish something I already started AND start a new idea. I now have 3" lowering blocks in the back and I cranked the torsion bars as low as I should in the front. I have finished wiring in my Datascan port, Alpine indash screen, and a dedicated laptop (with a power inverter to keep it charged). The laptop is wired for audio/video input to the Alpine flipout so I can see/hear datascan, music videos, and movies on the Alpine from the laptop...very nice setup for roadtrips.
My plans for this summer are (in no particular order):
--dark grey primer
--new radiator
--better tuning
--anything I can find that will give me some more easy power or faster spooling??
--DEFINITELY an upgraded pump (already have one..just gotta put it in and see how much more power it makes???)
and of course...I am pondering the idea of a completely custom rear end/suspension. I am thinking about bagging the truck, notching the rear frame, and using the R32 VLSD rear end and axles (that I saved from the 240)....would just have to get 240 rotor/brake swap to bolt up to the VLSD axles????

I will keep dreaming about that idea for a while....
