wow i would expect using a KA transmission would give u really short gear ratios. it might be easier to find a rb20de (non turbo) transmission since they may be more common and has short gear ratios. I currently have that running in my car. Does anyone know if the SR20det transmission bolts up?

i know that works, either way, you still need a RB20 bell housing, which i don't have.

Sr no worky, you could bolt the RB20 bellhousing to the SR gearcase but be sure the length is right. The FJ is 1 bolt off but that doesn't help you. Myself on the other hand, the FJ will look good bolted to that RB25 box!
