rb20 wont start help!!

Th car is acting like i am not pushing the clutch in so i tested the voltage going to the sensors and they are good. relays in the fuse box under the dash click when i go to start it but no started ingaging so i tapped the started nothing. any ideas. and then i pops started in to see if the starter need to be cleaned of grit or grime and so i drove it around my neighbor hood and then all the power in the car shut off i am lot one problem lead to the next

Also see if your alternator is working and all connections are solid.

thanks i will test those tom but i am still curious why the car wont start before when it was the battery/altenator was fine i am still puzzled about that

Hey, I have a question..... Was your car automatic before you put the engine in? Mine was auto, and when I did the manual swap for the rb20, mine wouldnt crank either.... had power, just no crank. It turns out there is a saftey switch you have to bypass at the fuse box under the hood. It has two thick wires that are not used anymore. Just connect them together and you should be good to go. Just test everything to make sure you have the right plug. Hope this helps.

Well if your power just shut off...

You either have a warped cell in your batteryYour alternator is not sufficient to charge your systemYour alt fuse has blown and your running of straight battery.Get a battery load test done, jump start it and check output on the alternator off the prong itself and check the fuse.

make sure you check that everything is grounded properly also..the same problems were accuring on my buddys Z and it ended up not being grounded good enough...
