rb20 won't start need help

To start this off this isn't my car it's a buddies so I don't know if I have the full story but I always end up working on their cars. But what I was told is the car was running he turned it off and kept playing his stereo and went to turn it on a minute later and it would go. He had it for a few months before he got me to work on it. I don't have a spark I've swapped out coils twice and ignitors three times and I know they are good. I'm majorly stumped at the moment. If anyone has an idea or had this trouble please help.

Did you check to make sure you're getting a signal from the ECU? The directions on how to do that are in the factory service manual, which is located on this site or by searching on google. I would try that first, but if you are getting the signals from the ecu then I would check to make sure the relay is kicking on to provide power to your coils.

Check the relays near the ecu.
