rb20 with z32 MAF needs to be tuned?

Tried searching for this, but no specific answer as to if it needs to be tuned or not. Injectors, manifolds, cams, etc are all stock. I havent had much luck getting a rb20 MAF but I have the z32 MAF already. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes you need to modify the bin on the stock ecu for it to work with that MAF. You could use a AFC but it would be a waste of money if you plan to make changes later.

well, my main question is...even with the z32 maf and no tune, it would run and drive reliably, reguardless of the performance aspect.

If it runs on the Z32 maf it prob means the ecu is programed for it. If the ecu wasn't it wouldn't run very well at all.

Look for that pink labeled Maxima maf. They are really close to the same.
