Hello all. I've been slowly working on an RB20/5spd swap into my auto '93 S13. I had been planning on buying a new harness from WSP but I would like to put that $500 to work in other areas (like a good clutch). So both my harnesses (KA and RB) are complete and in decent shape. I've been reading all the guides and understand the general concept. Put the KA dash plug on the RB harness, and put the two fuse box connectors from the KA harness on the RB harness in place of the big gray one. And extend some wires.... blah blah blah. But what about the other dash connectors on both harnesses (by dash connector, I mean connector on the inside of the firewall)? I have a big white one on my KA harness, and two more white ones on the RB harness. Are these simply ignored? What is that other connector for on the KA harness?

Ok I think I found the answer about the unknown KA connector. I think it is for the auto trans. Can anyone confirm that? And if so, I assume that would just be completely ignored. But I do I ignore the other two connectors on the RB harness as well?

You don't need anything off the KA harness except maybe the dash plug. Did u check the sticky to see what plug the 1st one is that you have circled?

Yeah none of the guides I've seen mention any of these connectors. I was able to find a harness diagram from the FSM for the KA, and if Im looking at it correctly, the unknown connector on the KA harness is for the auto trans. So I imagine I don't have to worry about the other end of that connector that's still in the car. But I can't find anything regarding the other two connectors on the interior side of the RB harness. I don't want to take apart a 20 year old harness any more than I have to, so I'm hoping someone knows. Otherwise I guess I'll take it apart and trace the wires.

you could prob buy a tone generator and probe and tone it out. Prob $60 at home depot or Lowes. I remember one of the white plugs I didn't even touch when I did my swap in a S13 many moons ago.
