i also have another problem with my car. when it was getting built there was a problem wiring it up so that the key will turn the starter on. so we ended up wiring it with a push start for the starter.

well this is very annoying and also anyone can come and steal my car. i was wondering what would be the proper way to wire the started to the key hole!

also the lock on the steering column doesnt work and more and you can insert anything to start the car! what can i do about this?? would i have to get a whole new key and lock set or is there something i can do to keep my car from getting stolen?

to wire the ignition all you need to do is take the wire coming off the starter and run it to the wire on the ignition that has continuity when the key is in the START position. do not wire it to the ON position or it will run continuously

if you have both connectors then just re-pin the harness-side connector, obviously once again make sure it going to connect with the START pin on the ignition-side connector.

*do not wire it to the ON position or it will run continuously*
