I was just curious what pressure levels other RB20's are making without a boost controller.Mine is running .76bar in Seattle which is just above sea level with 3" d/p, 3" cat delete, N1 Catback and a 25"x11"x3" FMIC (same sided) which I think would have some pressure drop.

I'm just worried about grenading the stock turbo. 11psi at the intake manifold means that I am really probably almost 12psi. I have a Joe P phantom boost controller waiting to go in, but Im hesitant to raise the boost any. It seems most of our turbos go out when pushing more than 12psi consistently. I think it may still be worth it to put it in and leave the boost alone just for the spool benefits of the ball spring type controller.

What do you guys think? Is 11psi normal without a boost controller?

10.5 11psi when i had mine, you can run 12 even 14 if you want i ran 14 for a couple months, but i recomend 12. and id run a smaller ic but you got the inlet and exit right, cause the crossover cold pipe is gayness.

What exactly is a Joe P Phantom Boost controller????

Umm 11psi you should be goldenThe air is thinner up there so (dont take my word on this) you may be able to run more boost. But..... I wouldn't test it for the extra couple horses

It's been said that 14 psi is the limit, so just dont push your luck. Not worth it.

The fmic seems golden. I didnt notice any extra turbo lag and no matter how long I run the car, the cold pipe just gets colder and colder.

My god. That is possibly the worst end tank design I have ever seen. Square, are you kidding? .7ish is what my 20s always started at stock. Don't push it past .9.

I had my reservations, but its cleaner than adding another crossover pipe and I didnt notice any extra lag or power loss. The end is a lil more rounded than it looks in the pic.

I've got a similiar setup as you and i've been daily driving mine on 10psi( no controller) and i've been fine. i think adding a controller would temp me to do something stupid and blow it up
