rb20 vs sr20?

my brother has a s13 rb20det and i was wondering if an sr pulls just as good seeing as how theyre both 2.0 or if the rb is that much better.

they are both great motors, its a personal preference, they come with different power, prices, and aftermarket potential...

No, the RB20 is a waste of time and money. Click the search button and type in rb20.

Ouch. I just put in an rb20 and i love it so far! The low end is a little lame but an sr20 wouldnt be any better. For what I paid and what I got, I think I'm right around the going price for an sr swap. I think an rb20 is great alternative from the everyday sr swap. Plus it sounds an ef load better.

what one person says "pulls hard" can be different from yours. ive read sohc s13's on craigslist that "pull hard"... set a hp goal and a budget for your build and do whats more reasonable to you...not by what other people say how it "pulls"

who me? If so, it pulls great on boost. Off, there isn't much desired, It is just a 2 liter. My tach doesnt work, but Id say full boost is around 3k, so from there till the next shift... is bliss.
