Rb20 vs rb25det harness

Okay, so I just ordered a Rb20 harness and its really a rb25det harness for a r32. Now I did some research and I know that you can use some Rb20 harnesses on some rb25's with proper modification to the injector harness on the Rb20 and changing some wires at the ecu. My question is can u use a rb25 harness on a rb20

will wire up the same as an rb20.
there was no rb25det in the r32 just the rb25de.

Ok I was looking at the pictures of the harness I just bought and those relays by the ecu connector are blue while the ones on my jacked up rb20 harness are green. Thats when I thought they were different. Then I searched up some info and the rb25 harness has a sub harness for all 6 injectors while the rb20 harness has 3 injectors on the main harness and the other 3 are on a sub harness. Won't there be a problem with that. I'm kinda new to this whole thing

ew, that will be a bit tougher to adapt...layout is different as well as several major sensor plugs.

Yeah. I know the Variable Valve Thing for the rb25det is not on the rb20. So here is what I concluded. I think the only problem is that the rb25det has sub harness for injectors and I think the harness I got does not come with the sub harness for the injectors. I also think I saw a ignitor. So I think getting a rb25 Injector sub harness and then changing the plugs to the rb20 injector plugs then switching pin 114 and 116 at the ecu. The ecu pinout will still be the same. You are right there are some other sensors but the rb20 ecu does not use these other sensors and the pinout is blank. So basically the other stuff won't matter to the ecu or it won't even be able to read or use the extra sensor info. Like A/T Input DT3 and 4 For example.
