Hey guys, please go easy on me and try not to flame me too bad, im still learning ya know. Anyways, i've been thinking about ideas to get higher boost safer from my rb20 without dropping 1000+ on a new turbo or w/e. Anyways, from what i understand the stock turbo is a t28 w/ a t3 flange, except it has the ceramic exhaust turbine. What i was wondering was do you guys think it would be possible to a) swap housings with a regular t28 (like those from an s14 SR) or b) swap the turbine assy. out w/ a regular t28's steel turbines? is it more complicated than i think it is like maybe the shaft's have different diameters or somethig? i just don't like the idea of putting a rb25 or z31 turbo on my rb20, i'd much rather put a t28 suited for 2 liters. Any information regarding this type of hybrid turbo doing would be greatly appreciated.

the guy i had try to rebuild my turbo (rb25) couldnt find an exhaust wheel for it.

thats just him, not sure if he knew what he was doing. but why not just get a t3/t4 with whatever specs you want.
