i've been looking around for rb20 turbo rebuild kit but have not been able to find one. Did a search but nobody seem to want to do that.

I am in process of pricing out rb20 swap and i wanted to at least replace bearings and oil seals on it.

stock turbo is bb, just has gay ceramic wheels.putting steel wheels on the turbo will alow for more boost safely but then you are limited to stock housings.dont bother rebuilding the turbo, get a rb25 or upgrade.or even better go get a gt30r.

i called top hat today to get a price on rb20 rings and bearings and they recomended running T3/T4 turbo . but to make it fit i need a spacer between manifold and turbo.

anybody know if this is a good setup?

it all depends on what kind of numbers you are looking for. and what you want to do with your car.

a t3/t4 is a significant upgrade over stock.

I have a T3/T4 on my RB20...don't see why you would have any need for a spacer though. Mine is a .57trim and .63 A/R, a little laggier than stock...but that's to be expected with a bigger turbo. I think on the dyno my turbo reached full boost at a little under 4K. With a better tune hopefully I can bring that down some more.
