So I did a total rookie thing, and whilst trimming my RB20 harness for de-looming the un-used connectors, I managed to snip one of the O2 sensor wires and the other end of it literally seems to have disappeared. I cannot for the life of me see where I cut it.

I still have continuity between what I think is pin 115 exhaust temp sensor ground, and pin 29 exhaust gas sensor signal... But where the EFF does the third wire on the harness go? Like i said I cannot even see where I snipped it. It's driving me nuts guys.

just disable the o2 flag in nistune...runs well without it.

Thanks Carl.

I didn't find that though. When my O2 sensor was on the fritz last summer at cruise and idle I would get 17,18+:1 afrs! I immediately got the proper AFRs when I replaced the O2 sensor.

Could that last wire simply be +12 V power?

EDIT: Btw Carl if you know anyone who wants a deal on a RB25DE R32 head let me know. I'm switching in favour of a RB26.

A dead 02 sensor is worse than not having one at all and being tuned for it!

As long as the signal wire isn't damaged it will still read just fine...the heater is there to warm the sensor up faster and help keep consistent tip temps.

The missing wire is an ign 12v. like carl said it's for the heater. it will just take a bit longer for your o2 sensor to read accurately. As long as you have the sensor wire hooked up it will work ok.

if you want to wire it back up, just grab another fused ign 12v.
