rb20 transmission

Will a rwd rb20det transmission work in the s13 240sx? I know they now make the motor moutns for the conversion I was jsut wodnering if the rb20det transmission will bolt right up or do you have to use the ka transmission.

Does it work with the rb20det engine? If so, yes, but it might be slightly moved forward unless you use a mount kit.

Yeah thats what I meant, i am getting a rb20det with transmission and I wasnt sure if I could still use the rb transmission. I seen the different rb mount kits they make.

YES WHEN YOU DO THE SWAP YOU USE EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE transmission AND transmission CROSSMEMBER.

I WOULD WAIT FOR THE COMPLETE MCKINNEY KIT, OR YOU CAN TAKE A CHANCE WITH THE NIGHT7/TOPHAT MOUNTS, AND I ALSO HEARD THE UNSTABLE HYBRID MOUNTS ARE OK TOO.

I was looking at the unstable hybrid kit, i havent got the motor yet but I just want to make sure everything will fit right. Thanks for all your help!

umm i just used the stock motor mounts and transmission mounts the work fine....
