Check this out: RB20 --> KAhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/330418

There's another thread that has one of these guys swapping parts with a 300ZX transmission.It was maybe BooztdZ or RBZ32Guy with a Z32 and a RB26.

Check to see if the pressure plate is releasing the clutch plate all the way. it could be a leaky clutch line, bad slave, or bad master cylinder... A transmission thats going out will rarely grind all gears...

thanks for the tips guys

also forgot yo mention is that is doesn't happen right away...as i drive more and the transmission warms up i guess thats when the issues i mentioned happen.also i hear like a grind right like under the shifter where the yolk for the d/s is..now i had to get mine cut like 1/2 inch to get the stock ka transmission in it...i have a s14 rear.

so supposing my transmission was grinding almost every gear (when dragging or downshifting) ANDDDDD my clutch pedal feels reallllllly soft, what would be the best step to start diagnosing?? I have bled my clutch already and have been losing NO fluid from that system.
