Well I have finished the swap. I runs awsome. The swap was reall simple since the donor car was already setup for the 26. Basicaly I took one rb26 powered R32, stripped it, sent to the yard and put it all in on my car. Why you may ask. Well because mine is in better shape and the other has no registration or JCI. Two things it would cost allot to get done having the 26 installed. The only real work was stripping the donor. I did learn some things, never throw away one car untill you know you have all the parts you will need. (Damn FMIC mounts) I did have to do some cutting for the FMIC piping and move a couple things around, but it was mor or less a pop and swap. Only problems I have are with traction and for some reason I lost the tach. Will figure that out this weekend. I only have pics of the donor car for now. As far as the engine it is not pretty (yet) it sat under a vented hood in the weather for a year. However "fast is not always pretty" I will post and link some pics of the what I got for 3500. Yes I had to pay 3500 for the whole R32 just for a donor car. So keep in mind if you go to the link the red 32 is the donor, silver is mine. Completed pics and more impressions will come soon. Oh and can some one give me a link so I can post video files and I will post some video and sound. You really have to hear this thing.

Thanks. I can only get small stuff. I can ussually only ship stuff EMS. There is no discount for the the military. When I come back to the states they ship my personal stuff for free. As far as using the UPS it is illegal to ship from UPS from here for profit using government aircraft. Do people do it, yes, will they get caught maybe. Usaually only when they do allot. So I only use EMS when I ship anything and it cost. Maybe the once in a great while I can do it through the on base mail but not for profit. Thats why I dont advertise selling stuff, but like I said depending on what it is I might be able to help out. I have to many years invested to get cought up in some crap for a little profit. So if you really need something and you understanding what I just wrote email me. Just remember I cant promise anything. I will most likely be doing a post in the Rb classifieds soon I have a couple small things I can get rid of from the swap (rb20 stuff) Oh if I could ship the RB20 (which I cant) I would sell it for 3-500 because thats all I will get here.

The red car is also a GTS-t. It was already converted with the RB26. Thats why it has a gts hood. The vented hood that it had is already gone. And about the R33 26 I am not sure. Have not checked, and as far as shipping I only know container prices 2500-3000. But I dont do that kind of stuff because i cant fill a container.

As far as the 26 I love it. The response, the boost forcing you in the seat. I now know what I have been missing in my life..... As far as the turbos (which I was told are N1's) they may not be be. The only numbers I can remember off the turbos are on the front side. Garret a/r 60 but I was told that these could be Nismo turbos That the stockers and group a turbos have .42 front A/R. with the Group a having a .64 rear A/R. I will be looking again for more numbers this weekend to verify what turbos I have. I will also be taking the completed pics.

So can anyone tell me where to host video when I get it??

Oh here is the motor before I took it out of the Donor car.

depends on how your putting it together nismore, if your doing all the work yourself and using most of the stock parts from the motor itself, such as the WP, TB, radiator, ect... you can prolly get a 26 running in your car for that. depends really what you want to upgrade, or just leave stock... im putting a 25 in my car right now, and my price count is getting up there, but im replacing most of the stock parts before installing the motor.. so of course it gets more expensive...

hashiriya, i envy how cheap you got that GT-R for... nice work man,

I see you are from St louis. If I was home I could help you. I am from across the river, Belleville. My 240 is actually stored back home now. As far as the 26 install , If you do it all yourself (wiring, moding the oil pan, Get the mount setup you need you can do it for 7 g's maybe. Now if you were talking 7k to get the motor and then you have more to dump into it no problem for sure. The 26's are not cheap in the states I have always wanted on in my 240 but I went with the 25. I will change it now that I have th 26 But you most likely will not get a deal like I got in the USA. So can it be done probably yes but a good chance no. There is alot of guys who have done the 26 and posted about it. Hell I am surprised you did not get the whole search thing. But then you did not start a thread about it. Well good luck with the swap.

Shocker: Thanks but it was a GTST with a 26 installed, not a GTR but it was a grweat deal. Thanks again.

If you are the guy who drove the car out on a trailer you may have already saw my car because I saw yours while it was being built. I was there one or more times while you had your car there if you are the same person.
