RB20 to LS2 Coil help

Hey guys,

I've been doing some reading on moving over to the LSX coil set up. Most of the writes and documentation I see is for S2 stuff. As we all know the S2 doesn't have an ignitor. So what about us S1 guys? I noticed on the GM Buick setup requires the ignitor.

With doing the S1 to LSX coil do we still retain the ignitor or does that get tossed in the bin?

Thanks in advance. If I can get some confirmation on the S1 stuff, I'll do some documentation once my LSX coils make it in

I'm silly, I reread one of the threads:

Just realized this is for a RB26 with an ignitor!

I've just gotta take a look at my harness and hopefully the wiring on the ignitor side is the same

Ditch the ignitor. The wiring is pretty straight forward but I got mixed up with a wire that splices into coil #1. Must be some kind of signal. Also my timing was way off after the swap so make sure you check that.
