rb20 swap

alright so i just picked up a 240 and im tryin to swap out the ka motor and put an rb20 in that b****. if anyone has any experience i got a couple questions.

Turbo. ignitor chip. ECU. RWD 5spd transmission. alternator. starter. clutch. flywheel. intake manifold. exhaust manifold. fuel rail. injectors. distributor. engine wiring harness. coilpacks

thats what the swap comes with... besides mounts and an inter cooler what am i going to have to get in addition to that?will the power steering and all that s*** work with the sr20 swap?

and if anyone knows any good sites that have swap explanations or like how to guides please let me know

let me answer you question with a question: which one: rb20 or sr20?

if you are doing the rb20, I know you will probably need the RB's crossmember for the mounts to sit on. and then there are the highly recommended upgrades: Nismo adjustable FPR, walbro 255lph pump, and you reaaaallly want to put in a NEW clutch while the engine is out...you don't want to be pulling your transmission again in a year when you could have done it now in 1/10th of the time.

There is a sticky up top that tell you pretty much what you are asking.. I do know that everyone really recommends the Timing belt and tensioner, and the water pump... +^ what he said^ ... Also Stay away from Tophat.. I am in the process of gathering all the swap goodies and I hope you have the money to spend..I am already at 2,350. Best of luck on your swap!

oh, and if you want a working tach, then buy a skyline or aftermarket tach or try the mysterious "recalibration" of your 4cyl tach....
