hey guys i finally got the motor cranking over after some starter issues but now i have most everything all set. i re did all my grounds and im pretty sure the motor is grounded out pretty well so im going to rule that out with this no spark issue. I know im getting fuel and the injectors are clicking when i spin the CAS. i followed the entire carlH wiring guide so i think everything is good as far as that goes. but i need to know how to go about checking my no spark issue. im just not quite sure exactly where to start so if someone can help me out with some things to check first it would be greatly appreciated!

1. wiring issue2.check ignitor (if it gets power, and comes from it)3. ECU (can be burned) - I had burned ECM on my cousin's Caravan, had the same problem problem with spark

it might sound stupid but check all your under hood fuses. i had that problem and it took me a month to figure it out.

I do not have the green relays either. I currently have no spark and fuel injectors do not pulse. Nothing happens when I spin the CAS. I have power to the black/white wire to the CAS but nothing on the other 3 wires. I'm trying to figure out if my CAS is bad. I also only have power on the intake side of my ignitor and no power to the other side. Is that how it should be?

you need to figure out the green relays first. As they supply power to a lot of the rest of the harness.

I agree with rustspec, if you dont have the relays your engine will not run. One of the relays is for the fuel pump and the other is for the ignition.

well then i guess im gonna need a wire diagram and gonna have to wire in some new relays cause they were def cut off. now i understand why i have so many more extra wires under the dash near the ecu that i thought i should.

this must be why my fuel pump is just constantly running because riight now with key on it just keeps pumping not like a 3 sec prime or whatever. i hope i can get this figured out this weekend but i need to fully understand now how relays work and how to wire them up. this is turning into a lil more than i thought it would be but oh well hopefully it will be worth it! if not im gonna kick myself square in the nuts for not getting rb25

Mine will actually prime for 5 seconds and I have power to everything but I either do not have the relays, or they have been relocated (or I'm blind). I cannot find them. The engine and harness were previously in an S13 that was wrecked, but ran. I've got the engine in an S14. I'm stumped as to what is wrong.

Eh? I tried to start my rb tonight, fuel but no spark. I DEFINATELY did not plug those green relays in. Are the plugins near where the ecu is or what?

Edit: god damnit i just realized the relay is the female part... where the hell can you get those? I have fuel but no spark and neither are plugged in. Im assuming they might be from a 300zx ign relay? Anyone have some insight?

These look like they might work http://parts.autopartsonlineca...ory=P

That looks about right, i just went to my local advance and told them i need a replacement nissan green relay. Any nissan green relay will be the same as what your missing.

If you want to test the connection just jump the two pins that are closest together.

hey man think you could take another liek 10 mins and actually get some pics of the wires and exactly what location they are wired up to? cause what i have on my harness is just a wire loom with 4 wires in each and the plugs completely cut off. that would be a GREAT HELP for me since the fsm i have is retarted and so far what i have tried isn;t working. if you could do that for me that would be greatly appreciated. just snap a few pics of each wire and where it goes # wise to each corresponding realy. i would owe you my life right now!
