Rb20 swap into an s14. Auto to manual converted? Which lower/transmission harness?

Will I need an s14 5 spd lower harness for my rb20 swap? Also is the ka24de automatic engine harness different from the 5spd engine harness? I still have the s14 engine harness but threw away the auto lower harness.

dont need it, you use the one from your rb. the at/mt ka harness, who cares it gets pulled

it is best to use the lower harness from the car that is being swapped...saves headaches.the 5spd lower is different than the auto; ideally the auto would be used and adapted to the rb block.

I used my automatic...s14 lower harness didnt have to change anything; i used my sr20de alternator though and an sr20det speed sensor in the gearbox.

oops, is the lower harness the the starter,alternater connections? if so, ya i used the one from the car. cant remember any problems using a auto harness.

Are you asking me? Im in the same boat as you. I dont want to get started with this swap till I know I have everything I need to get it in and running on one try.

Im using the one off the ka24e. It drops right in. The one from my Rb was cut so that didnt work out. Carl did my upper wiring harness, so the ka lower harness snapped right in.
