Complete rb20 swap swap for sale. This is not my motor, it belongs to a really good friend of mine. Im listing on here because he doesnt have an account. His name is Taylor, his phone number is 256-658-9011 or feel free to email me at [email protected]. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance to take some and throw them up.

Details:
Engine developed a very minor knock this past Saturday. Its very minor and vehicle was towed the night it began, maybe ran for 5 min after knock was heard. It will need a turbo, it has an e-gay t3/t4 that I suspect is on its way out. It still boosts but is beginning to smoke, oil seals are prob crapping out but idk for a fact.

The exhaust manifold had been modified to accept a 38mm ewg. I did this myself in the machine shop where I attend college. It works great, never had any problems and clears everything. I will make sure to specifically upload pics of it as well.

It has home made mounts to fit into an s13, I did not make these but I will attest theyre solid in construction and engine fits/sits great in the car.

It will come with the stock smic and the random pipes that were used to plumb the i/c system.

Feel free to ask any questions as I will try to answer them as best as I can. Again, I will upload pics as soon as I get a chance to take some and toss them up on here.

Don't feel the need to keep this in the FS thread? I'm just saying a lot of people have been doing this lately.

These are the pics of the manifold in the machine shop at my college when I modified it to accept the external wastegate.

Image
I machined a flat spot on the manifold and then drilled the w/g port using one of our Bridgeport end mills. I dont claim to be a welder but I can certainly glue to pieces of metal together. Theyre solid and dont leak. I found the way that works best for me welding to cast is on a very high heat forceing the iron to become molten and then using a slow wire speed I can control the heat and slowly spread the material to the w/g flange.

Here is where I used the end mill to mill out the divider in the manifold to help allow the exhaust to pass to the w/g port rather than continue being forced into the turbo and only venting 3 cylinders.

And here is a pic of it on my kitchen table with the e-gay OBX turbo. Its like a TBX28 or some sh*t, not very big but you can still see it clears everything just fine. Its positioned very close to the turbo flange, just offset about an inch or so. I tried to get it close so it would disperse as much exhaust energy away from the exhaust inlet as possible.
