i plan on swapping a rb20 into my 240. what would you guys rate the difficulty of the swap from 0-10? this would be my first swap. i will have access to shop equipment though. also are koyo radiators universal or are they engine/chassis specific?

thanks

I'm doing that swap, and i'll let you know how hard it is hopefully in like 2 weeks. I really think it depends on how mechanically inclined you are, the pations you have, and all the right tools. Resources you really have nothing to worry about because that's what we all are here for. If you have access to a shop it should make your life a whole lot easier, there's many people that has done this swap in there backyard. I doubt its going to be difficult, but then again i work on Nissan's 6 days a week too so, that may mean a difference too.

i'm not really looking to bring it to a shop to do due to the cost of labor plus i already am gonna be doing it in a shop. i've been reading up on this swap for months and it doesn't seem that hard. just wanted some feedback from others who have done it before. i think the only problem i would run into is the wiring since i really hate the electrical stuff.

technical part is not hard, you just have to remember what you take out so you can put it back in.electrical part is complicated...all I did was send my wiring to Mckinneymotoports($350) and every thing fire up.....they are couple of shops that's doing wiring for maybe less price now...ask aroung, have fun..

its overrated, it took me like 5 hours. It was 20. Using the crossmember and having a wiring guide.

If youve done motor swaps the hardest part is getting the engine on the right angle, if you have a balancer its easy as pie.

It's a easy swap. Even the wiring isn't major since there is a wiring guide to help.

Its pretty much a direct bolt in i used the r32 x member and then use the wiring guide.
