rb20 stock bottom end max power record?

i'm hearing sr20, rb25 and ka24 max power record floating around, but not rb20. anyone have hard facts of a stock bottom end rb20 max power output?

this would be interesting.

WDRacing, on this forum, made 498 at the wheels without forged internals.

i think a rb20 is a all around good motor, only time will tell just how reliable it is with high horsepower. hopefully it can take the aboue, i would love to see it happen

interesting...it's nice to hear someone pushing the rb20 to 500+whp on stock bangers ;)

i believe WDRacing is running on alcohol inj. that is probably help a lot with eliminating detonation.

my friend has 450 on his RB20 stock internal for over a year.

with standalone, head studs and gasket; probably can squeeze a bit more out of the stock internals.

Between Hybrid and myself we are about to have 3 20's soon. Maybe one of us will try and push the limits of the stock guts of the 20.

Wow. And the stock transmission is holding up fine? Still shifts great and everything?

Damn. I thought those things blew up if you even *thought* of getting close to 450 or so.

tuning must be precised if you are looking at holding the hp up there for long.

FITO: i'm leaning torward the Microtech unit, are you using stock coil/ignition? I really don't like the idea of drill the crank pulley to embed triggering magnets like SDS

Ye I am using the stock coils, no problem whatsoever.
