RB20 Speedo cable

Anyone have a RB20det speedometer cable. Come to find out after i wire half my rb20 gauge cluster to work in place of the KA one that one has a cable speedo and one has a electric. I need the physical cable that connects to the transmission. The one on my transmission is cut so it is of no use. I really would like to use the whole rb gauge cluster if I could. The other option is to get another KA cluster harness, seeing as I have hacked mine to pieces, and just swap the tachs. I don't really want to do this so if anyone has a cable I can hit up please let me know.~ANDREW~

save yourself the time and just swap the tach over. Unless you don't mind cutting the firewall.

I have to cut the beautiful firewall I just painted what the crap do I really or can I not find a whole thats already there and use it.~ANDREW~

You should be able to run the cable thfough the top/side of the trans tunnel and not mee up you firewall... its tight. but...

you can use the stock 240 speed sensor, correct me if im wrong

Yeah you can if you are using the 240 gauge cluster which I am not. I am using the RB gauge cluster which doesnt have the added wiring needed for the speedo sensor. Even if I swapped the speedometers I still dont think it would work.~ANDREW~

so i can the SR tach can be used on the RB if the SR sensor is used i guess ?

i am SR powered and got rid of every KA part i have i dout i have a sensor

Still need the cable? I know I had one at one point...I don't remember if I threw it away or not though. If you still need it I'll go take a look around.

dont go through the firewall.not a good idea.best place to put it is to cut a hole in the transmission tunnel and run it in through there.cutting a hole near the gas pedal by the heater unit works well, thats where i put mine.then my cable broke where it connets to the cluster so ive got to run another cable there.
