RB20 shipping weight...

Im going to be shipping my RB20 motorset with just about everything(Except X-member)and Im wondering how much it weighs to get a estimated quote from a Freight company. Ive heard 500-600 but Im trying to get as close as possible number. Thanks.

I had my full motor set shipped from FL to SC for $144. I do not have a slip for the weight unfortunately. My clip weighed 1400lbs and was ~500 to ship... but that probably doesn't help to much.

figure the RB20 transmission is probably a little bit lighter, but still that should be about right.

RB25det engine on a pallate : 700 lbsTranny on a pallate : 210 lbs

That is what it says on the freight billing sheet from a company called G.I. Trucking ( gi-trucking.com ). I know they ship in Cali but I think they ship interstate also.

It cost me about $500 to get my clip shipped from Venus to St Louis MO. They said the clip was 1500 pounds. Paid an extra $100 for a lift gate and the driver wouldnt even put it on the gate. I had to put it on the gate and get it off the truck for him.
