Rb20 S13 Transmission Mounting Prolems

Ok. So I am almost done with my rb20 into my s13. I go to bolt down the Mounts for the transmission using my stock Ka Transmission mounts and its off by 1 or 2 inches. I HAVE SEARCHED. I found that sometimes when you use the r32 crossmember with your rb20 in a s13 the trans has problems lining up especially with the ka24de transmission mounts. Can anyone confirm this issue. Also I came to the conclusion, after searching, that a automatic transmission mount will work with a rb20 using the r32 crossmember. Any input

Many people who have swapped RBs have had to make custom mounts. When we put the RB in the Z, we had to fabricate both engine and transmission mounts.

you really need the r32 manual box mount as not much else will line up...if you cant find one then you'll probably have to weld some plate steel to the existing mount to move it back some.
the auto box mount is ONLY for the 25 box, will not work with the standard 20 box iirc.

I ran R32 crossmember with my RB20 and used an S13 AUTO transmission crossmember on the RB20 manual transmission without issue.

Go to a junk yard and find an s13 auto transmission crossmember and your problems will be solved.
