Well I got my rb running finally after a few upgrades and about a month of downtime.

However It was running very rough (not on all cylinders). It took lot of cranking to get her started to begin with with a boost.....after the last run she started spewing gas out of the turbo flange..:s Needless to say running real rich, dowright made a sea of gas inside the engine.

Now I pulled the plugs to see which are covered in gas or which are firing and which aren't.Cylinder 1 and 3 the plugs were covered in gas...al the rest were dry but the plugs were really carboned up....prolly due to how rich I was running b4 I upgraded. So I tried cranking the engine with the plug out to see if I was getting spark on one of the wet cylinders....cylinder had spark but it was arching off the side of the plug.Car when running was missing bad...but I'm unsure if it was running on 2 or 4 cylinders.

I recently did a few upgrades these being;Denso 550cc injectors (Used but in mint shape)Resistor Pack..(Wired from single power wire for injectors to each white with black stripe wire on each injector...cut an spliced)Innovate Wideband DB Gauge SetupNew EPROM Tuned (By Carl H) RB20 ECUZ32 MAFS (Wired in sequence)

So I do have some fault tracing to do but I was wondering what everyones thoughts were on this, maybe some tips or advice possibly??Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated...I will do up a thread with pics of the car once shes running mint again.

Thanks Alot Kendal

Did a check tonight I have good spark, cylindr 1 and 3 are soaking the plugs with gas and the car is missing bad...when I try to start it,all I can smell is gas.Tried tapping the injectors with no success.

I do have one question....I know the white/black wire on the injectors is switched power...and the white/red wire is ecu signal...but is the white/red wire supposed to be powered with the ignition on too??I put a test light on it and i get a dim light not as bright as the switched power but dim and it draws when the engine is cranking. Is this right??

Did you change the injector seals with new ones or did you reuse your old ones from your stock injectors.

I did put new seals on them but this is soo weird...I'm thinking their maybe fuxored due to being used.I was wondering however if with the key on if both wires get power or are supposed to.
