Hey guys, after the car has been off the road for awhile getting a new suspension, brakes, and exhaust. I also decided to get a wideband since I've read around its important. Got a fitting welded to my test pipe and installed/wired the gauge.

My question is this... The wideband gauge is reading 16+ at idle (cold start) and often just gives three dashed lines (---) like its running insanely lean or something. My boost gauge is showing -17 and ive read normal is anywhere between -15 to -20 so i may have a few vacuum leaks which im going to try tracking down. I'm also going to make a boost leak tester.

BUT!! I have a nismo FPR installed and i can practically bog the car out by adjusting it, which im assuming is giving it too much fuel. But the damn gauge STILL reads --- or 16+. Also when i rev it and hold at approx. 3000 rpm it will jump around between 13-14 then right back to ---

did i install my gauge wrong?? Currently the exhaust is hanging by zip ties (not being driven was just temporary) but tomorrow will be putting on actual rubber bushings and am going to tighten/adjust all the connecting points of the exhaust to ensure theres no leaks.

Really want to be driving my car again. Why can i practically bog the car out with fuel but the gauge still reads lean?? doesnt make any sense to me..

Thanks for the advice and sorry for the essay. The gauge is an AEM UEGO by the way. (read they aren't the best.. wishing i got a better one atm unless its just from my amatuer install skills :gapteeth: )

Also is a bonestock RB20 with FMIC, 3 inch exhaust, walbro 255, nismo fpr, new spark plugs were also installed with the suspension and brakes.

do the numbers go rich to lean when your at idle? could be the sensor is no good or the gauge is no good.

Yeah it'll start out around 14.7 then continue to get leaner. I found a leak at the turbo elbow to downpipe though gotta buy a new gasket but I'm pretty sure that's the cause

Unfortunately while I was redoing some of my wiring (my first go about wasn't that pretty) something happened and it will crank but not start. Have pin 43 (start signal) wired to the orange ignition wire. Going to check for spark today hoping I pulled a ground off or something. Code 55 from ecu. Won't start with the maf unplugged either. If there's no spark I guess it's time to source a new igniter

check your power to the green relays. one is for ignition and the other for the injectors.
