ok guys so i have been having issues with a stock rb20 running like crap. i took it to my friends shop and we put a wideband on it. at idle i had 18.9 or more and when the throttle was opened a little it shot up to around 20.6 and was irratic. stock maf, nismo fpr(set to 38) walbro 255, fmic, 3"dp and exhaust. i put an afc on it and corrrected the hi to around +20 to +30 correction(based on wideband readings of 14.5) and it still wont hardly break the tires loose and the boost gauge is reading like 12lbs at 2000rpms WOT and it acts like fuel cut. . . popping and all that. what can i do? where do i need to look? seems to me a stock rb20 shouldnt need ANY correction with an afc.

Please share how you're getting 12psi at 2000rpm

How's your timing?

It's possible the MAF is not reading/sending a good signal to the ECU...

On your FPR you set to 43.5 with the vac hose unhooked right?

Will the engine rev through the entire rpm band or does it cut out at 2500?

Need more info on your setup and symptoms.. GL

i have NO idea how im getting 12psi @ 2k, but it does it as soon as i give full throttle and i have the boost gauge hooked up @ a fitting right behind the TB on the IM and the vac reading is accurate. yes the fpr is set to 43 unhooked. no it doesn't rev fast at all until like 4000 then its quick to 7 ish but on the low side of the rpms its sluggish. . . bad injectors maybe? according to the safc the air flow seems good. . . what coolant temp sensor could it be that i keep hearing about, the gauge seems to work fine is it the single wire sensor next to the yellow temp sensor, and could that be it?
