Why don't you look for a RB25DE if you want to go N/A with ITB's? It would seem like a better choice since it's 2.5 vs 2.0?? I'm sure the RB25DE motorset can be had for very cheap since.

i wanted the 2.0 for its shorter stroke and i cuz i can get a long block for 400 bucks locally. if i can get a 25 for 600 or less i may consider it, otherwise i think im gonna go with a 7mge.

ok I see now. Try and hit up a importer I'm sure you could get a motorset Dirt cheap since it's a N/A motor and nobody wants them over here.

you could contact mckinneyt but I think with the prices for all the parts you'll be better off getting a clip or a good working motor set.... just my 2 cents

i would do that if the importers could send me video of the engine running and a data log document showing engine temps air temps oil pressure etc of the motor, unfortunately thats impossible, ive never trusted an importer and never will no matter how many positive things i hear about em.

on a side note, i can have the bearings made, how much would you guys pay for a set of main and rod bearings? is this something i should look into or does everyone just swap the motors and pray for good weather.
