For my goal of 300-350whp...

1. "Stock" front mount with lots of piping2. Aftermarket front mount with Greddy plenum and less piping3. Air/water intercooler shoved in the drivers side front corner

The first option is by far the cheapest, but it has the worst efficiency and added lag.

The second option is easiest, but has the additional cost of the plenum and Infiniti throttle body.

I don't know if the last option has ever been documented. Would it even fit? Keeps stealth look but has added cost of pump & heat exchanger. Something like this.

Thoughts, ideas?

GREDDY DOSEN'T MAKE A RB20 MANIFOLD. THERE IS ONLY ONE MANIFOLD THAT I KNOW OF AND ONE IN THE DESIGN PROCESS. A COMPLETED MANIFOLD IS THE UNIQUE AUTOSPORTS ONE AND THE ONE IN THE DESIGN PROCESS IS THE ONE FROM TOPHAT PERFORMANCE (BTW: GREAT GUY AND QUALITY PRODUCTS). I WOULD WAIT FOR HIS SINCE YOU DON'T HAVE A CAR YET BUT IF YOU WANT PERFORMANCE NOW GET THE UNIQUE AUTO SPORTS ONE AS IT HAS A BUILT IN FUEL RAIL.

Hmm, could've sworn Greddy had one or the RB25 fit. Guess not.

The Unique plenum/manifold alone costs as much as option one's total.

Tophat may be a viable option if it gets completed.

GREDDY MAKES ONE FOR THE RB25 BUT NOT FOR THE RB20.

THE RB25 AND RB20 INTAKE PORT DESIGN AND RUNNERS ARE DIFFERENT SO USING A RB25 MANIFOLD WILL NOT WORK.

NO THEY DON'T BECAUSE I HAVE BOTH MOTORS IN MY GARAGE, THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

THE RB25 RUNNERS ARE LONGER AT THE HEAD WITH DIFFERENT PORT DESIGNS. THE UPPER MANIFOLD IS AN INLINE CONNECTION WITH THE RUNNERS.

THE RB20 RUNNERS ARE SHORTER AT THE HEAD. THE UPPER MANIFOLD HAS THE LAST TWO RUNNERS STAGARD FROM THE REST.

IT IS BUT HE MENTIONED THE GREDDY PLENUM FOR THE RB20 (WHICH DOESN'T EXIST) AND YES THE INTAKE PORTS AT THE HEAD ARE DIFFERENT BECAUSE THE RB25 HAS DIFFERENT WATER PASSAGES.

How much is an Infiniti throttlebody?

What about getting a custom plenum made?

ITS NOT THE PLENUM THAT IS INEFFCIENT ITS THE RUNNER DESIGN. SO FOR ANY POWER INCREASES YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE ENTIRE INTAKE ASSEMBLY.

I DUNNO IF MIKE AT TOP HATS DESIGN IS JUST THE UPPER PLENUM OR A COMPLETE REPLACEMENT.

I DO KNOW THAT THE GREDDY IS A COMPLETE REPLACEMENTAND UNIQUE AUTOSPORTS IS A COMPLETE REPLACEMENT W/ FUEL RAIL AND ALL.

I have a buddy with a PWR 6x10 aftercooler on his Civic setup and if fits pretty good so surely there would be enough room in the 240. I believe that his 6x10 will support 600-700hp so you could get a smaller one.
